For boutiques, architects, hotels, and lived-in spaces.
Villamer designs objects for the home. Pieces with generous and organic forms, conceived to create comforting, lively, personal spaces. Each collection is born from artisanal work, slowly crafted with the idea of accompanying daily life: objects to use, to keep, to naturally integrate into one's home.
Our professional catalog is available upon request.
ARTICLE 1 – SCOPE AND APPLICATION
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all products sold through villamerobjets.com.
The Customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms before confirming their order.
Information recorded on the website, together with order confirmations, shall constitute evidence of transactions concluded between VILLAMER and the Customer, unless proven otherwise.
Products offered on the website are intended for personal use. Orders placed for professional purposes or with the intention of resale may be subject to separate commercial terms.
These Terms and Conditions remain the exclusive property of VILLAMER. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
ARTICLE 2 – HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTION
All VILLAMER pieces are handmade in our workshop in the South of France.
Each creation is individually handcrafted and goes through several stages of production, which may include shaping, drying, firing, glazing, decorating and finishing.
As a result of this entirely artisanal process, each piece is unique.
Slight variations in shape, dimensions, colour, texture, glaze, pattern or finish may therefore occur from one piece to another.
These variations are inherent to handmade craftsmanship and form an integral part of the identity and character of VILLAMER creations. They shall not, in themselves, be considered defects or non-conformities, provided that they do not affect the normal use of the product and remain consistent with its description.
The photographs displayed on the website are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible. Slight differences in colour may occur depending on the screen or device used.
ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY
The essential characteristics of each product are described on its respective product page.
VILLAMER creations may be offered:
– in stock and available for dispatch;
– on pre-order;
– or made to order.
Where a piece is offered on pre-order or made to order, this information, together with the applicable production timeframe, will be indicated on the website at the time of purchase.
Products are offered subject to stock availability and the production capacity of our workshop.
In the exceptional event that VILLAMER is unable to supply a product that has been ordered, the Customer will be contacted as soon as possible and offered an appropriate solution or, where applicable, a refund for the product concerned.
ARTICLE 4 – PRE-ORDERS AND MADE-TO-ORDER PIECES
Certain VILLAMER creations are offered on pre-order or are specifically made following the Customer’s order.
These pieces are not immediately available from existing stock. Once an order has been confirmed, the pieces are incorporated into our workshop’s production schedule.
Production may begin shortly after the order has been confirmed.
Once an order has been confirmed and production of the pieces has begun, the order is considered final and can no longer be cancelled at the Customer’s request, subject to any mandatory statutory rights that may apply.
The fact that an order has not yet been dispatched does not mean that production has not already begun.
A piece may already be undergoing shaping, drying, first firing, glazing, decorating, second firing or finishing.
The Customer therefore acknowledges that a production period is required before any made-to-order piece can be dispatched.
The production timeframe stated on the website is separate from the shipping and delivery time required by the carrier.
ARTICLE 5 – PERSONALISED ORDERS
Certain VILLAMER creations may be personalised at the Customer’s request, including with a first name, initials, a word, an inscription, a colour or any other characteristic specifically selected for their order.
In accordance with the applicable provisions of French consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to goods made according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
Orders meeting these criteria are therefore final and cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded under the statutory right of withdrawal.
This provision does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights in the event of a defective or non-conforming product.
ARTICLE 6 – PRICES
The applicable prices are those displayed on villamerobjets.com at the time the order is confirmed.
Prices are stated in euros.
Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are displayed separately before the Customer confirms their order.
For orders shipped outside the European Union or to territories subject to specific customs requirements, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may be applied upon arrival of the parcel.
Unless otherwise stated, any such duties, taxes and charges are the responsibility of the Customer.
ARTICLE 7 – PAYMENT
Full payment is required when the order is confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in advance with VILLAMER.
The Customer may use the payment methods available on the website at the time of purchase.
Transactions are processed through the payment providers available through the online store.
VILLAMER does not have access to the Customer’s confidential banking information.
An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
ARTICLE 8 – PRODUCTION TIMEFRAMES
The applicable production timeframe for made-to-order and pre-order pieces is stated on the website or on the relevant product page.
This timeframe corresponds to the time required to handcraft the pieces in our workshop.
Production time is separate from the carrier’s shipping and delivery time, which begins once the order has been dispatched.
Where an order contains several products with different production timeframes, VILLAMER may wait until all pieces are completed before dispatching the entire order together, unless otherwise agreed with the Customer.
ARTICLE 9 – DELIVERY
Products are shipped to the delivery address provided by the Customer when placing their order.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and complete, including their name, address, postcode, city, country, telephone number and, where applicable, access code, floor number or any other information required for successful delivery.
VILLAMER shall not be held responsible for consequences resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Customer, subject to applicable mandatory legal provisions.
Where the selected shipping method provides tracking, the Customer will receive a dispatch confirmation together with the relevant tracking information.
If a parcel is returned to VILLAMER due to an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to collect the parcel, or another delivery issue attributable to the Customer, the Customer must contact VILLAMER at:
A new shipment may then be arranged. The Customer may be required to pay the additional shipping costs where the return was caused by circumstances attributable to them.
ARTICLE 10 – RECEIPT, BREAKAGE AND DAMAGED PRODUCTS
As all VILLAMER creations are handcrafted, particular care is taken when preparing and packaging each order for shipment.
The Customer is encouraged to inspect the condition of the parcel and products upon receipt.
If a piece arrives broken, damaged or with an apparent issue, the Customer should contact VILLAMER as soon as possible at:
The Customer should ideally provide their order number together with photographs of the affected piece and its packaging so that the claim can be processed efficiently.
This procedure does not affect any statutory rights or guarantees available to the Customer.
ARTICLE 11 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
In accordance with applicable French consumer law, where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the Customer has fourteen (14) days from receipt of their order to notify VILLAMER of their decision to withdraw from the purchase.
The request must be sent to:
The direct cost of returning the products is borne by the Customer, unless otherwise required by law or where an error is attributable to VILLAMER.
Returned products must be appropriately protected and returned in a condition allowing them to be resold.
The Customer may be held responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the product.
The specific provisions relating to personalised products set out in Article 5 remain applicable.
ARTICLE 12 – REFUNDS
Where a refund is due to the Customer under applicable law, VILLAMER will issue the refund within the timeframe required by law.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the Customer.
Where the Customer validly exercises their statutory right of withdrawal, VILLAMER may withhold the refund until the relevant products have been received or until the Customer provides evidence that they have returned them, in accordance with applicable law.
ARTICLE 13 – STATUTORY GUARANTEES
VILLAMER products are covered by all applicable statutory guarantees, including the French statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, under the conditions provided by French law.
The handmade and unique nature of VILLAMER creations does not exclude the application of these statutory guarantees.
However, slight variations resulting from the handmade production process, as described in Article 2, do not necessarily constitute a lack of conformity.
For any enquiry regarding a potential defect, the Customer may contact VILLAMER at:
The Customer should provide their order number and, where relevant, photographs of the product concerned.
ARTICLE 14 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All creations, designs, drawings, photographs, illustrations, texts, graphics, logos, patterns, visual elements and other content displayed on villamerobjets.com are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless prior written permission has been granted by VILLAMER, any reproduction, representation, copying, adaptation, modification, distribution, publication or exploitation, in whole or in part, of these elements is prohibited where such use exceeds that permitted by law.
The purchase of a VILLAMER creation does not grant the Customer any intellectual property rights over its design, model, patterns or any other creative elements associated with it.
ARTICLE 15 – LIABILITY AND USE OF PRODUCTS
The Customer is encouraged to consult the characteristics and any care or usage instructions provided on the relevant product page.
VILLAMER shall not be held responsible for deterioration resulting from abnormal use, use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose or failure to follow any care instructions provided, subject to applicable mandatory legal provisions.
For any questions regarding a VILLAMER creation, the Customer may contact:
ARTICLE 16 – FORCE MAJEURE
